I was born in 1939 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In 1965 I started photography and also working in the field of organizing salons, being member of the board of our Camera club, our National Photographic Federation and FIAP. Most of my images are landscapes but also other things (see my website www.janjansenfotografie.nl) The Master degree of our federation and also the Master degree of FIAP means a lot for me but is not the end. Several times I made photographic trips in several countries and give lectures and had expositions. I am still involved in the Holland International Image Circuit from which I am the President. Photographic Distinctions: BMK, MFIAP, PSA**, LRPS.

The images you now see have been been made short after a thunderstorm with havy rain. I took the images at the beach of the island Terschelling in the Netherlands with slides (Fuji Sensia 100 ASA) and changed them into black and white. I find myself very lucky to be at that place at that time.
